Consulting with Derek has more than paid off for itself in many hours saved, trusted contacts, a lot more clarity on next steps, and potentially avoiding tens if not hundreds of thousands of dollars in mistakes.Were are in the early stages of evaluating land to develop or finding existing homes with ADU potential. Derek is a great diagnostician that helped to understand our goals and values and helped us think through the pros and cons of next steps. Challenged with caring for my 89 year old mom and needing a place to work from home and retreat. We have space for a ADU and after searching the web and finding "that ADU Guy" I honestly feel I can sleep some tonight know there's hope. Prayers pls that I can make this happen!

After hearing an interview with him on Biggerpockets, I set up a phone consultation with Derek through his website. Talking with him was awesome. I'm a first time homebuyer looking to deploy the ADU strategy in a very competitive market, and he helped me work through some of the challenges I've been facing.
